Although there have been many technological advances, which many thought would reduce the working day and extend considerably our leisure time, modern life has proved to be evermore busy and demanding with increasing stress levels, as most people work longer than ever before. Research has shown that we now sleep about 1 and a half hours less per night than our grandparents did. Thus, we find ourselves with pressure at the beginning and end of every day. Our quality of life suffers when our sleep suffers.
The energy loss which occurs during the day is restored when we are asleep. If we fail to sleep properly it is the case that with the pace of modern life our bodies begin to suffer. And so it is that sleep becomes increasingly important. A high quality mattress will make a very important contribution to one’s sleep.
